About the Attorney

Lars Reed is a California-licensed attorney with years of experience helping clients navigate complex legal questions, as well as advising clients on difficult business decisions and personnel management issues.

After graduating with top honors from the University of California, Davis, Lars served for a year as a judicial law clerk to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Alaska, advising the court on a variety of cases involving both civil and criminal appeals. Lars then spent five years as an attorney at a California law firm where he served as a trusted advisor to many government agencies on a wide range of topics including employment law, tax issues, labor negotiations, privacy rights, anti-corruption and ethics regulations, and human resources management. He also frequently represented clients in both civil lawsuits and administrative proceedings.

Lars also has experience in individual financial and tax planning, and as a dual citizen of both the U.S. and Norway, he is intimately familiar with the complex rules that surround these issues for expats living abroad.
